Get "STAND!" SATB w/Solo and Guitar (as performed at 2009 GA!) for your group or congregation - September 1, 2009
I am so happy to know you’d like to make “STAND!” a home in your community!
After a few more edits and a hard drive crash or two, the sheet music is now available in SATB with Guitar accompaniment, along with a folk-style lyrics & chords page. It is exactly the same arrangement performed at the 2009 General Assembly of the Unitarian Universalist Association!
And now you can also download the free mp3 below, compliments of Amy and Different Stripes Music!
We’re offering a one-organization Copy License for a nominal one-time fee of $25.00, which can be submitted through the Paypal link below (No Paypal account required!).
In short, this License provides for copies as needed and virtually any use of the music by your congregation short of commercial recording or performance for profit.
When PayPal sends notice, my office will e-mail the printable .pdf file of the sheet music, and the license to you ASAP! Just complete the “Grantee” information on the form and return it via email (or US post if you prefer: Amy Carol Webb, Different Stripes Music, P.O. Box 660131, Miami Springs, FL 33266).
Please note: the file is available in two formats -- standard letter size (12 pages) or as 11x17 (3 pages two sides) to be folded into standard letter size booklet. Kindly let us know which format you prefer.
Again, our hearts rejoice that your community “STAND!”s; we stand with you!
Sing loud!

Keynotes and Workshops Offered - June 1, 2009
Keynotes (selection):
"Sing Me the River" -- a multi-media musical event on the history and holiness of earth's waters as the source and sustenance of life -- and how we can better cherish them.
"I Come from Women" -- a multi-media celebration of women who made and are making history -- and a charge to the rest of us to make history of our own!
"We Come Singing Bread and Roses" -- sing your way through this history of the labor movement in the United States of America! Rollicking fun for all!
"In the Beginning Was Sound" -- an interactive musical exploration of sound and its power in our lives. A fascinating weave of science, philosophy and song!
"Stand!" -- What might this world be like if we actually stood together through thick and through thin? Do you know what you stand for? And how strong will you stand for it? I will stand with you! Will you stand with me?
"Human Rights and Divine Responsibilities" -- This keynote was born for the Martin Luther King, Jr. holiday, and has just kept growing to embrace the work of justice throughout the world. It's one thing to claim our rights -- another to live up to their responsibility.
Workshops offered (selection):
"Empower Your Voice" -- from the first "hello" your voice is your aural ambassador. In this highly interactive workshop you can find and free your own unique natural instrument, and learn to put your best voice forward! (from hourly intensives, up to 4-day residencies) This workshop also comes as a keynote!
"The Song in Your Heart" -- some cultures greet each person at birth with a song all their own, a song that belongs to them all their lives. Each of us is born with such a song. Can you hear yours? Will you sing it for us? (hours intensives, up to week residencies) Also comes as a keynote.
University residency:
For 11 years, Amy has offered the Craft of Songwriting Summer Sessions at the University of Miami. Eleven sessions in six week. You'll be amazed at the music waiting inside you! More information on this year sessions at:
